Okay guys, I found out yesterday that after I graduate I will have a job. At least for the first year. I will be Dr.Bruckn after all as an Intern at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg, VA. I can only assume it will be like the first season of Scrubs. :) |

Great job! Now about this rash.... |

Good work Bruckn! I mean Dr. Bruckn. Sam might be joking about the rash, but I actually do have a big red spot on my eye. It almost covers the entirety of one side of my eye (the white part, I don't know the terms). It doesn't hurt and I can see fine. I'm not sure how it happened. I went to the Jimmy Buffett concert last night with two healthy eyes and this morning I had one. I may have hit a tree limb or something, I may have got punched in the face. Who knows. My question: How long until this goes away and should I bother with seeing a doctor? |

Sounds like you got yourself a "subconjunctival hemorrhage" which is blood in the white of your eye. It is fairly common - trauma, coughing, heavy lifting or throwing up. It's pretty much harmless, should clear up in 1-3 weeks on its own. The only reason I would go see a doctor is if you are in pain, it starts to look worse, or if you lose vision. Wikipedia |

Awesome. I've got to go to a wedding on Saturday. I hope it clears up sooner than later so I'm not bombarded with questions by people who would rather not hear the true story. Man, Adam REALLY is a doctor! |
