I voted for McCain because I'm registered republican and the rules (at least here) are you can only vote within your party for the primaries. I did hear him speak a few times and once (on Hardball) he actually sounded like a decent candidate. I'm just a little hesitant to the idea of another republican in office after the last 8 years. I wish that I had been registered democrat because it's obvious that McCain is going to be the republican front runner. I would have voted for Obama because Hillary is a witch. That doesn't mean that I want Obama in office either, I just really don't want Hillary in there. If Obama beats Hillary out, I think my decision for November's election will be largely dependant on who the running mates for each party is. By the way, there were zero people in line when I went to vote today. |

I've always been registered unaffiliated because NC is an Open-Primary state, which lets me decide at the time of the primary what party I'll be voting for this election. When I voted, at about 9:30, there had already been 280 votes cast for my precinct.. |

That's 280 out of 3,704 total registered to vote. |

I'm not even sure I'll vote for president ... I might be held accountable for my actions. Besides, I'm in John McCain's home state, so I'm sure he'll win AZ anyway. |
