Northern-Style Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 soup can milk
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesean cheese
  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

Directions

  • Cook bacon in skillet and remove fat. Add beef and onion. Cook until meat is done, then remove fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce and remove from heat.
  • In small bowl, combine soup and milk. In another bowl, combine ricotta and parmesean
  • In 13 × 9 baking dish, spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce. Top with 3 noodles, spread with 1/2 of soup mixture, 1/2 of cheese mixture, and 1/3 of remaining meat sauce. Repeat layers. Top with remaining lasagna noodles and meat sauce.
  • Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Un-cover, add extra pamesean to your desire, then bake 10 more minutes. Let stand 10 minutes, EAT!
